We do not accept firearms, weapon components, devices intended to injure people, illegal or controlled items, or requests intended to bypass safety or security controls.
MANUFACTURING POLICY
Not every printable request should be produced.
Creative Horizons reviews projects for manufacturability, safety, legality, intellectual-property concerns, and whether additive manufacturing is an appropriate process.
Rights and intellectual property
Customers must have the right to provide and manufacture submitted designs. Requests involving counterfeit goods or unauthorized protected designs may be declined.
Safety-critical work
Aerospace, medical, pressure-bearing, structural, electrical-safety, automotive-safety, and other safety-critical uses require explicit review and may be declined.
No implied certification
A manufactured part is not certified for a regulated or safety-critical application merely because it can be printed. Any required engineering approval remains separate from fabrication.
Material limitations
Heat, UV exposure, chemicals, fatigue, layer orientation, tolerances, and load direction can materially change performance. Material recommendations are use-case dependent.
Human review
Automated tools may assist analysis, but acceptance, final pricing, and production release remain subject to authorized review.
